Petrol and diesel prices cut by Rs 2 across India

Petrol, Diesel Prices: The government has slashed prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre with effective from 6 am March 15.

According to a tweet by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have announced revisions in the prices of petrol and diesel nationwide.

The reduction in petrol and diesel prices is expected to stimulate consumer spending and alleviate operating expenses for a vast number of vehicles, including over 58 lakh heavy goods vehicles fueled by diesel, 6 crore cars, and 27 crore two-wheelers.

Moreover, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri also tweeted – “By reducing the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again proved that the welfare and convenience of his family of crores of Indians is always his goal.”

In the national capital, the price of petrol will be reduced to Rs 94.72 per litre from the current Rs 96.72 per litre, while diesel will be priced at Rs 87.62 per litre, down from Rs 89.62 per litre.

NHL 25 Adds Professional Women's Hockey League This Year

EA Sports has announced a multi-year deal with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) to bring the upstart league’s players and teams to NHL 25.

The PWHL comes to NHL 25 on December 5 with all six teams–these include the Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montréal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres.

These teams can be used in Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout, and Seasons. PWHL uniforms will be accessible in World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team. EA warned that not all player likenesses will be available right away, saying it will “continue to add more” players over time.

PWHL integration in NHL 25 also includes the Walter Cup–the PWHL’s version of the Stanley Cup.

Alleged UHC Shooter Once Interned At Civ Studio

New information continues to come to light about the suspect in the brazen killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, including a connection to the world of video games. The suspect, 26-year-old Luigi Mangione, worked at Civilization studio Firaxis Games, a spokesperson confirmed to Polygon.

What appears to be Mangione’s LinkedIn page states that he worked as a UI programming intern at Firaxis from May 2016-August 2017; he said he fixed more than 300 UI bugs in the game. Also in 2016, Mangione’s alleged LinkedIn page says he was the founder and president of “Upgrade,” a game development and research team at the University of Pennsylvania.

Following his Firaxis internship, Mangione’s subsequent career roles were seemingly outside of the game development scene.
